The State of Maryland - COMM - Office of Financing Programs Administration seeks a Small, Minority, Women-Owned Business Account Program Manager (SMWOBA) to lead the full-time administration and strategic management of SMWOBA and the Video Lottery Terminal Fund (VLT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic or Business Administration or closely related field.
• Eight years of experience in administrative or professional work; five years in commercial bank lending, underwriting, analysis of project information, financial statements, projections, portfolio and credit analysis, grant administration, collateral evaluations, and loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee SMWOBA program and the Video Lottery Terminal Fund (VLT) program on a full-time basis.
• Ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, financial policies, procurement requirements, and program objectives.
• Coordinate among fund managers, financial institutions, Commerce leadership, auditors, legal counsel, and external stakeholders; ensure accurate reporting and stewardship of public funds.
• Develop and manage contacts, analyze performance metrics, and prepare executive reports; monitor program performance and drive improvements.
