Amazon.com Services LLC's Selling Partner User Experience (SPUX) team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own AI tooling and experimentation workstreams. You will drive cross-functional delivery, enabling SPUX Designers to prototype faster and SPUX UX practitioners to run scalable usability studies.
The role requires strategic thinking, initiative, and strong communication to influence product roadmaps, with responsibilities spanning roadmap, alignment, and metrics to de-risk future decisions
Are you passionate about enabling Amazon's 2+ million sellers worldwide to thrive? The Selling Partner User Experience (SPUX) team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own two critical workstreams: UX AI Tooling and Experimentation.
This role will drive cross-functional delivery of generative design tooling, with the goal of enabling SPUX Designers to prototype more efficiently, produce near-production-ready code for easier handoff to Engineering, and maintain compliance with design system guidance to uphold our high quality bar. In parallel, this role will drive the execution and scaling of different experiment types, with the goal of enabling SPUX UX practitioners to conduct UX-led usability testing more efficiently, systematically track and learn from patterns that extend beyond current design system guidance, and ultimately de-risk future product decisions. These workstreams are force multipliers that enable SPUX to maintain quality standards while increasing velocity as the seller experience evolves.
The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, and dives deep into details-capable of developing high-level strategic initiatives while remaining detail-oriented enough to push forward necessary tasks. Maturity, strong business judgment, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional teams are essential. The candidate for this position embraces ambiguity, ramps quickly on complex issues, and communicates convincingly to diverse internal and external audiences.
On Monday, you might review new experiment intake requests and partner with SPUX Leadership to align on prioritization against strategic goals. On Tuesday, you update the AI tooling roadmap with latest delivery statuses and raise blockers to SPUX Program Management Leadership. Wednesday, you partner with the SPUX Business Analyst to semi-automate experimentation analyses so the program can scale efficiently. Thursday, you attend and contribute to a working session with internal product teams to integrate multiple UX tools into a more optimized builder workflow. Friday, you enter leadership goal updates for the previous month.
The Selling Partner User Experience (SPUX) team sits within Core Selling Partner Experience (CSPE). We're a team of 60 UX practitioners who empower sellers to thrive with Amazon by creating world-class experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and human. Researchers uncover seller needs and build actionable knowledge to inform our work. Designers architect the design foundation and define the experience of core seller tasks, then evaluate through seller-tested prototypes that de-risk decisions. Finally, Program Managers establish and uphold the bar for excellence across every launch. We envision a future where all sellers have access to and are delighted by innovative tools for running their business.
