Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Commerce, CA is seeking a Manager, Program Level 3 to lead the Propulsion portfolio within the Mission Enabling Products (MEP) business unit. The role reports to the Propulsion Product Director and acts as a key member of the leadership team for the Propulsion portfolio.

This position is 100% on-site at the Commerce, CA site and requires directing cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives while maintaining customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years, or master’s degree and 8 years’ experience in US Government contracts or aerospace project management.
• Experience leading program tasks on schedule and budget as program manager or IPT lead.
• Advanced MS Office and MS Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, lead, and manage an ~8-person program management team.
• Interface with Customer, Business Management, Contracts, Engineering and other teams.
• Develop team structures and processes to optimize productivity and collaboration.
• Lead proposals, contract changes, budgets, schedules, and terms.
• Deliver program performance, status, and risk management to stakeholders.
