Job summary

Heron Power is a startup building cutting-edge power electronics for the 21st-century grid. We are hiring an Engineering Program Manager to own the technical execution of our next-generation power conversion platform from architecture through manufacturing launch.

This hands-on role requires deep understanding of converter architectures, firmware control strategies, and system-level tradeoffs. You will partner with hardware, firmware, tests, and supply chain teams to deliver a high-velocity,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (power electronics focus strongly preferred).
  • 5+ years leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs with power electronics or hardware-software systems.
  • Strong technical foundation in power electronics, converter architectures, and system-level tradeoffs.
  • Experience collaborating with firmware/software teams and design reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical execution of product roadmap from architecture to manufacturing launch.
  • Coordinate hardware, firmware, controls, test, reliability, and supply chain across teams.
  • Define product requirements, validation strategies, and decision gates.
  • Lead architecture, design readiness, and validation readiness reviews.
  • Ensure DFMEA-driven risk management and no-surprises culture.
