Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on power electronics or energy-storage hardware testing.
• Strong DC circuit fundamentals and ability to correlate test data with simulations.
• Proficient in scripting and test automation to drive instruments and power converters.
• Experience with power converters, BMS, DC pre-charge, and protection.
• Comfort with lab instrumentation and CAN/Modbus TCP communications.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end application testing of a high C-rate battery pack with SST.
• Support SST and utility-scale BESS integration testing at pilot sites.
• Coordinate testing with DAS, SCADA, and EMS systems.
• Lead first pilot deployments and drive product improvements with SW/FW teams.
• Develop Python-based test automation to command power converters and log data.
• Set up lab power tests safely with instrumentation and data acquisition.
