Senior Program Manager, Middle Mile Fleet Management, Strategy and Process

Join Amazon's innovative team focused on solving significant business challenges through disruptive technology. We are expanding our Surface Transportation organization, supporting Middle Mile assets such as tractors, trailers, box trucks, and hostlers. This role involves delivering world-class solutions in a collaborative, startup-like environment, requiring strong leadership and analytical skills.

The Senior Program Manager will define the vision, roadmap, and oversee the execution of our Fleet Management business, with a focus on the end-to-end process of damaged equipment management. Responsibilities include data analysis, supply chain understanding, aligning with finance stakeholders, and interacting with senior leaders to develop efficient business models.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Source, define, build, and manage the Fleet Management business.
  2. Define program vision and success metrics.
  3. Develop frameworks to measure cost performance and key performance indicators.
  4. Create reporting tools for program management at scale.
  5. Establish timelines and project phases for short, mid, and long-term goals.
  6. Gather business inputs to generate and update financial plans.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics for improvements.
  • Ownership of program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and senior leadership communication.
  • 2+ years of process improvement experience.
  • Master's degree or MBA in relevant fields.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas, data cleansing, automation).
