Job summary

Google Design Platform (GDP) is a cross‑product, cross‑platform design and engineering team working to turn high-impact design opportunities into reality. As a Program Manager, you will lead multi‑disciplinary projects across time zones, coordinating stakeholders, planning requirements, and communicating progress with cross‑functional partners.

The role spans GDP and 1P partnerships, including content programs and icon development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with product development.
• Experience with design system development.
• Experience with cross-functional sprint development.

Responsibilities

• Drive UX design development (including sprints) and partnership with 1P teams and execution within the Material Design team.
• Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage intake and prioritization of new projects with cross‑functional partners and other Program Manager (PgM) team members. Ensure resourcing against key efforts.
• Coordinate and manage dependencies within GDP and with cross‑Google partners.
• Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, including material and GDP leadership.
