Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager III for the Material Design team within the Google Design Platform. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives across offices and time zones, coordinating with UX, PM, engineers, and 1P partners to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality design systems.

You will drive sprints, manage dependencies, and align release schedules with stakeholders while influencing the design and engineering roadmap at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with product development.
• Experience with design system development.
• Experience with cross-functional sprint development.

Responsibilities

• Drive UX design development (including sprints) in collaboration with 1P teams and the Material Design team, including content programs and product icon development.
• Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage intake and prioritization of new projects with cross-functional partners and other PgM team members, ensuring proper resourcing.
• Coordinate and manage dependencies within GDP and with cross-Google partners.
• Manage project schedules and communicate risks and updates to stakeholders, including GDP leadership.
