Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks an Associate Director, Finance and Grants to lead pre-award and post-award grant and philanthropic management for research and community programs.

You will oversee budgets, reporting, and accounting support, partnering with leadership to steward funding. The role requires 3+ years of project leadership, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage complex budgets in a hospital/nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master's in business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive project leadership; budgeting experience essential; grants experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets and fiscal reporting with leadership.
• Develop annual program budgets including salary support and effort reporting.
• Ensure salary templates are accurate and updated; manage salary template changes.
• Oversee contractual arrangements with funders, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Lead administrative databases related to grants and philanthropic spending.
• Supervise finance and accounting staff; manage day-to-day financial operations.
