Job summary

South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Program Manager II to assist the Bureau Chief of Quality in shaping statewide quality initiatives and improving Medicaid member health outcomes. • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, health administration, public health or related field and five years of healthcare quality improvement experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in healthcare, nursing, health administration, public health or related field.
• Experience overseeing contract management staff and working with Medicaid/Medicare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bureau Chief with managing health quality improvement activities.
• Assess health plan and provider quality status and monitor quality improvement goals.
• Support informing the executive team on quality goals and population health matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and state payer systems on population health initiatives.
• Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and vendor activities across offices.
