Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Program Manager in Hartford, Wisconsin to lead multiple interrelated programs across cross-functional teams. The role focuses on aligning program outcomes with business priorities, governance, and executive accountability, while guiding change and readiness for new product launches.

The position emphasizes structured methodologies, risk management, and collaboration with product management and tech leads to deliver complex programs with organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in physical sciences or business; Engineering strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and systems/applications development processes.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, organizational alignment, and portfolio management tools and dashboards.
• PMP certification preferred (PgMP a strong plus) with executive communication and risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management and Tech Leads to define and maintain product requirements and project scope.
• Define and maintain program objectives and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Develop integrated program plans and schedules while managing complex dependencies across teams.
• Manage program-level risks, issues, and stakeholder engagement, including change management and governance.
• Monitor financial performance and resource utilization, communicate program status to senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
