Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Program Manager to drive planning and execution for the continued capacity expansion of its Global Fulfillment network. As part of the Infrastructure PMO, you will convert PORs into detailed execution plans, coordinate multiple functions, and ensure projects are delivered on time with intended business outcomes.

You will own end-to-end programs from design to launch, manage cross-functional dependencies across sites, mentor team members, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program or project management experience.
• 6+ years of leading large complex programs experience.
• 6+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience.
• 6+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for a portfolio of fulfillment center projects from POR approval through design, construction, automation deployment, and launch.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and stakeholder alignment across 6+ partner organizations by facilitating weekly alignment meetings, managing planning-to-execution hand-offs, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage schedule integrity across the portfolio by reviewing proposals for milestone schedules, tracking delays, and coordinating with vendors on details.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks that impact project schedules with recommended mitigation paths.
• Report on program status to Senior Leadership, planning, and execution teams by maintaining the network Engineering Project Tracker and providing inputs on resource tracking and program data.
• Improve program management processes, tools, and mechanisms by driving efficiencies and scalable delivery approaches.
• Mentor and develop program managers on the team; contribute to hiring, interviews, and promotion assessments
