Job summary

Kestra Financial is seeking a Program Manager to lead advisor platform projects reporting to the Head of Advisor Platform Product. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, risks, and deliverables, and provide status updates to executives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in software development within financial services, strong stakeholder engagement, and proficiency with Smartsheet/JIRA/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of project management experience, incl. use of project plans and issue logs.
• Project management experience related to software development.
• Financial services experience.
• Familiarity with .NET framework.
• Desktop and Internet-based applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as WealthBox and/or Redtail is a plus.
• Experience with at least 4 full life cycle projects, from analysis to completion.
• Forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate client and team needs.
• Customer-first attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a similar client-facing role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project constraints focusing on scope, time, risk, and change.
• Develop project plans using Kestra's tools.
• Lead matrix-structured teams and meetings; manage risks and delivery.
• Provide regular project communications to all levels; deliver presentations as needed.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and help develop project requirements.
• Support business stakeholders with operational readiness plans (testing, training, change management).
• Understand current Advisor Platform projects from strategic and delivery perspectives.
• Support monthly Steer Co decks for Executive Leadership.
• Promote integrity and leadership throughout project lifecycles.
• Organize activities and facilitate presentations and meetings.
