Job summary

RAPP Chicago is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Program Management team, directing client projects from initiation to delivery and ensuring value, efficiency, and growth.

The role requires 5+ years of experience managing medium-sized programs, strong leadership, and expertise with Agile/Scrum and PM tools like Workfront or Smartsheet. This is an in-office role within Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years managing medium-complex projects or programs (web development preferred).
• Experience with Marketing Technology solutions or modern web technologies.
• Knowledge of traditional PM techniques and Agile/Scrum; adaptable and iterative.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PM tools (Workfront, Atlassian, Smartsheet).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with project documentation (SOWs, RAID Logs).

Responsibilities

• Experience managing complex programs from start to finish and identifying risks.
• Manage projects autonomously and support leadership in complex initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, cross-agency partners, and clients.
• Co-author estimates, resource plans, and change orders across the account.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and milestones; communicate progress.
• Optimize resource allocation to avoid over/under-utilization.
• Align project teams and ensure timely presence of resources.
• Manage project budgets, track spends and forecast within constraints.
• Lead meetings (weekly PM huddles, stand-ups, reviews).
• Continuously optimize workflows and ways of working for improvement.
• Mentor junior PMs and share best practices.
• Review deliverables for quality and standards.
