Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Project Management / Sr. Principal Project Management to direct all program phases from inception to completion in Sunnyvale, CA. This role leads IPTs, negotiates contracts, and coordinates proposals, budgets and performance reviews.

The position emphasizes customer relations, risk management, and adherence to contract scope with the potential for bonuses and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years, or master's and 3 years' of relevant experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
Experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, IPT or CAM.
Demonstrated success leading teams/organizations to achieve a common goal.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
Develop proposals, business plans, and budgets; manage baselines and resources.
Maintain primary customer contact and present program status to stakeholders.
Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation plans.
