Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Program Manager II to lead complex defense programs from award through delivery, ensuring performance, cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, finance, contracts, quality, and external customers to deliver mission-critical products.

This role requires a strong track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, controlling budgets, and communicating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• 5-8+ years of progressive program management or operational leadership experience in defense/aerospace/government contracting.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with responsibility for schedule, cost, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of government contracting, manufacturing operations, program financial management, and customer relationship management.
• Experience managing program budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, risks, and contractual deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex defense and manufacturing programs, ensuring objectives are achieved.
• Serve as primary interface with customers, senior leadership, and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction.
• Provide program leadership, accountability, and decision-making for performance and deliverables.
• Review SOWs, contracts, technical requirements, cost estimates, and delivery schedules for successful execution.
• Develop and maintain integrated plans, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk management.
