Job summary

Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks a senior manager to oversee the Establishment/Legal Unit in the Montgomery County Office of Child Support. The role leads professional and supervisory staff, directs operations, and drives efficiency and service quality.

You will report to the Deputy Director and coordinate with multiple agencies. Requirements include extensive experience in human services program administration and a related advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in human services program administration or related analyses.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience.
• Graduate level study in a human services field may substitute for up to six years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate administration of Child Support programs.
• Communicate with state agencies, sheriff's department, judges and workgroups.
• Oversee daily agency operations in Director's absence.
• Identify issues and recommend improvements to leadership.
