Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for the Fixel Centers of Excellence portfolio on the Gainesville campus. You will oversee designation, reporting, and ongoing governance, coordinating cross-center collaboration with faculty leaders and Institute teams.

The role focuses on building operational infrastructure, improving processes, and aligning resources across centers. A master's degree and PMP are highly valued, with a strong emphasis on healthcare administration and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, plus five years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred master's degree in healthcare or related fields.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Institute's primary operational liaison and steward of the Centers of Excellence portfolio.
• Coordinate Center designation, certification, renewal, annual reporting, and related requirements.
• Maintain an accurate portfolio inventory including leadership, affiliations, milestones, and reporting obligations.
• Support development and launch of new Centers of Excellence.
• Monitor portfolio activities to identify needs, risks, and resource considerations for leadership.
• Promote collaboration and consistency across Centers while respecting disease-specific requirements.
