Job summary

General Motors in Sunnyvale/Michigan is seeking a Staff Program Manager for the next generation of Super Cruise. You will orchestrate the evolution of GM’s flagship autonomous driving technology, coordinating with Product, Technical, Vehicle PMO, software and hardware teams to drive high‑quality milestone plans and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical PM or engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading AV programs from inception to launch.
• Fluent in agile and waterfall practices and cross‑functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with Product, Program and Engineering leaders to synchronize Super Cruise development with hardware/software cycles.
• Draft and track Program Milestones with clear success criteria and release schedules.
• Lead cross‑functional program milestones and coordinate progress with engineering leads.
• Own the Program Risk Register and mitigate bottlenecks with robust plans.
• Lead reviews and coach peers on GM processes and excellence.
• Manage Jira Align/Jira/Confluence ecosystem and provide exec‑level reporting.
• Forecast resource needs and ensure compliance with standards and safety‑critical software development practices.
• Travel to Michigan or California locations as needed.
