Job summary

CesiumAstro in Colorado is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead performance and day-to-day execution of a major subsystem or payload. You will be the single point of contact for program reviews and coordinate with customers, engineering, and finance to align milestones, cost, and technical objectives.

The role requires 12+ years in program or subcontract management, a BS/MS in engineering, and aerospace experience, including DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years in program or subcontract management.
• BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience with government/military customers, Space Force/Space Systems Command.
• Experience with work breakdown structures, cost and staffing plans, and IMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative and fast-paced.

Responsibilities

• Lead program performance and day-to-day execution for a large subsystem or small payload.
• Serve as the single point of contact for program reviews with customers.
• Establish baselines, integrated master plans and resource-loaded schedules.
• Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
