Job summary

Capital One National Association in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of large, complex initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Senior Program Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to teams, peers, and direct reports.
• Design, develop, and adapt project plans in a fast-paced environment, revising requirements as needed to meet shifting goals.
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery.
• Leverage strong customer-back problem‑solving and analytical skills to ensure project execution aligns with business intent and delivers a great customer experience.
• Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to project customers and cross‑functional teams to drive seamless delivery.
• Build strong relationships and leverage outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company.
• Develop scalable frameworks for managing work that can be replicated for future integrations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
• 9+ years of Project Management experience.
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
