Job summary

BTC POWER in Irvine, CA seeks a Program Manager to oversee sales project operations and field issues, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance. You will coordinate with sales, engineering, supply chain, and production to deliver customer solutions.

The role requires a technical background, PMP preferred, and strong Excel and cross-functional collaboration abilities. You will report to Sales Operations and help drive project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or substantial technical experience in power products.
  • PMP or PMI Certification strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of project/program management (8+ years strongly preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams and multi-task with urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Leads customer engagement to ensure scope, time, and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects.
  • Supports multi-channel efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems.
  • Provides innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups.
  • Determines and pursues courses of action essential in accomplishing objectives.
  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
  • Adhere to internal and external quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on the status of project requirements and milestones utilizing Gantt charts and similar tools.
  • Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and resolve resource requirements.
  • Work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to solve problems as they arise.
  • Support select programs and accounts, including tracking and reporting progress, preparing presentation materials.
  • Create and utilize reporting and business case analytics to track progress toward contract fulfillment.
  • Represent Sales Operations in planning meetings as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives without compromising schedules.

Job description

The Program Manager will manage operational aspects of ongoing sales projects and field issues. Candidates being considered will need to demonstrate their skills with PM tools for project controls and possess extensive technical and project management experience with various design as well as design-build (or EPC) projects with an exceptional track record of successful execution. Serving as liaison among sales account managers, external customers, engineering, supply chain and production to deliver solutions. We seek a professional who provides strategic vision, the ability to manage projects in accordance with timelines, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing the project. Strong knowledge of stakeholder analysis and engagement will help deliver business results to the clients. This position will collaborate with but not limited to the Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, Production and Operations team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and utilize reporting and business case analytics to track and illustrate progress towards contract fulfillment.
  • Represent Sales Operations in planning meetings, when needed
