Job summary

DISHER is seeking a Senior Manager of Program Management to lead the cross-functional product development team in Zeeland, MI, guiding projects from inception through post-launch reviews and ensuring continuity of leadership across programs.

You will own the Product Development Process, drive KPI development, and partner with all functions to deliver on-time, high-quality product launches while managing resources and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management or launching products.
• 2+ years of formal team leadership with track record of growing teams.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, marketing or equivalent experience; CPM/PMP certification a plus.
• Proven track record in program management from concept to production, interfacing with leaders, suppliers, stakeholders and customers.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end and coordinate resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall portfolio of projects to ensure resources are used efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement in the Product Development Process.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for the Project Management Area.
• Facilitate addition of new projects or changes to the workstream for the product development team.
• Partner with and lead all functions to ensure on-time, on-quality, on-cost product launches.
• Maintain detailed project timing, resource requirements and open issues lists.
• Interact with customers to communicate project status and negotiate parameters.
• Engage with suppliers to manage builds, approvals and ramp.
• Provide periodic project status updates to leadership with escalation of risks and opportunities.
• Resource planning with functional leaders across projects.
• Communicate and build commitment for product direction and management plans.
• Ensure timely decisions related to new products.
• Develop industry expertise in building materials.
