Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Senior Program Lead for Professional Education and Specialty Conferences in Colorado Springs. You will provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of scientific conferences (EPI/Lifestyle, BCVS, VasD, HTN, ReSS) and related education programs, partnering with volunteers and internal teams to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience in conferences, association meetings, or professional education programs.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of specialty scientific conferences and educational programs.
• Develop and implement growth strategies to increase attendance, revenue, engagement, and market relevance.
• Lead efforts to achieve annual attendance, revenue, and net revenue goals; monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with professional societies, academic institutions, and external organizations.
