Job summary

Utah State University seeks a Project Coordinator Senior to support the Center for Employment and Inclusion within the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice. You will help expand employment training and research, design curricula, and build partnerships with state agencies and employers.

Reporting to the Director of Research and Training, you will supervise staff, develop evidence-based programs, and ensure high-quality training and technical assistance for partners across Utah

Qualifications

• Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling, special education, public administration, or related field plus two years direct related work experience or a Bachelor's with four years related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Experience designing and delivering training or technical assistance to state agencies, service providers, or other professional audiences.
• Experience with grant writing and grant management.
• Familiarity with professional competency frameworks for employment services (e.g., ACRE) and with customized and supported employment.

Responsibilities

• Program leadership and implementation: assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing employment training and research programs for people with disabilities.
• Staff supervision and technical assistance: supervises, trains, evaluates staff and directs hourly employees, graduate students, and volunteers.
• Curriculum and training design: designs, develops, revises training curricula and materials based on current research in disability employment.
• Stakeholder engagement: serves as liaison to state agencies, employers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Research, data, and evaluation: collects, analyzes, and reports data; supports research and translates findings into practice.
• Fiscal management, grants, and communications: monitors program revenues and expenses; writes grants; prepares training materials and publications.
