Job summary

Kratos Space Training & Cyber in Orlando, FL seeks a Sr. Program Financial Analyst to support program management with spend plans, ETCs/EACs, and EVMS-based cost and schedule performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Deltek COBRA, CostPoint, ProPricer, and MS Project, plus a bachelor’s in accounting/finance/engineering and 5+ years in defense contracting. Strong communication and interfacing with all levels of management are essential.

  • Prepare spend plans and ETCs/EACs for assigned programs.
  • Provide weekly/monthly cost and schedule performance using EVMS.
  • Maintain Cobra/Cost Point setup and maintenance.
  • Assist with pricing activities in accordance with RFP/RFI, FAR, CAS and Policies.
  • Support Director, Program Planning, Pricing and Control with metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Support Program Management with the preparation of accurate spend plans & ETCs/EACs for assigned programs
  • Experience in full EVMS
  • Utilize EVMS to provide weekly/monthly cost and schedule performance for assigned program stakeholders
  • Expert in Deltek COBRA
  • Independent analysis of ETCs/EACs (Metric Based approach)
  • Program Cash Flow and unbilled reporting
  • Cobra / Cost Point set up and maintenance
  • Support Annual Operating Plan and recurring monthly and quarterly review
  • Acts as back up in support of pricing activities as necessary IAW compliance with RFP/RFI, FAR, CAS, and Company Policies and Procedures
  • Support Director, Program Planning, Pricing and Control with Department Metric formulation and Management
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Engineering
  • Minimum of five years of financial analyst experience with an emphasis in project controls/program controls/business management/pricing/budgeting experience in defense contracting environment
  • Demonstrated program control, cost analysis, forecasting, and EVMS experience
  • Ability to interface with all levels of Management
  • Advanced level ability in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
  • Knowledge/experience with CAS/FAR/DFAR
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills / Experience
  • Knowledge/experience with ProPricer
  • Knowledge/experience with Costpoint
  • Working knowledge of MS Project
