Job summary

Internews Network is seeking a Senior Program Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership for its grant-funded portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and governance across programs.

Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with program directors to drive funding strategies, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with donor requirements, all while coordinating with accounting and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in project finance, FP&A, or nonprofit finance.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex grant-funded programs and budgets.
• Deep understanding of nonprofit accounting, funder compliance, and grant management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Advanced budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and project management.
• Ability to develop executive-level analyses and recommendations.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and BI/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the organization's project and grant portfolio.
• Develop annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, and funding strategies.
• Lead project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and cost-to-complete analyses.
• Monitor project performance and advise on resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, donor requirements, and policies.
• Collaborate with CFO, controllers, and program leadership to optimize funding.
