Job summary

Credence is actively seeking a Senior Program Engineer-Systems Security to join the Armament Directorate Division at Eglin AFB, FL. You will safeguard air force systems by engineering security solutions, applying supply chain risk management, information assurance, and anti-tamper controls across critical weapon systems.

This onsite role requires DoD knowledge and a Top-Secret clearance, delivering RMF-aligned engineering support for assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring in a

Qualifications

• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• ABET-accredited BS degree in a related field with 20 years of experience, or an MS with 15 years.
• Experience with armament systems (air‑to‑air, air‑to‑surface) and DoD lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of CPI/ATO, RMF, DoDI 5200.44, 8500.01E and related standards.
• Ability to work onsite at Eglin AFB, FL and coordinate with multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess CPI and determine when AT protections are required.
• Develop AT specifications and procedures to prevent exploitation of critical technologies.
• Support and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection Plan.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to enable compliant testing and fielding.
• Apply IA engineering to weapon systems per DoDI 5200.44 and 8500.01E.
• Identify missions-critical functions and implement risk-management early in design.
• Develop IA specs and support audits, assessments, and integration of secure components.
• Implement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01 and mitigate supply-chain risks.
• Prevent counterfeit materials and apply lifecycle controls.
• Support PIT and PIT-IA engineering for embedded systems.
• Apply PIT Security Control Assessor processes.
• Ensure secure interconnections with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS.
• Support encryption solution design and implementation for weapon-system security.
• Provide RMF-aligned engineering support for assessment, authorization, and continuous-monitoring activities.
