Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Program Engineer-Systems Security for the Armament Directorate Division at Eglin AFB, FL. The role focuses on systems security engineering, CPI/ATO, and supply chain risk management to safeguard critical weapons systems.

Onsite position at Eglin AFB, FL; requires TS/SCI eligibility and extensive DoD experience to design, test, and implement secure systems in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• ABET-accredited degree (BS) in a related discipline; 20+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface missiles or related).
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5200.44, 8500.01E, 4140.01.
• Experience with CPI and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and protect CPI; determine when anti-tamper protections are required.
• Develop AT specifications and procedures to deter exploitation of critical tech.
• Support and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection Plan.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to enable compliant testing and fielding.
• Apply IA engineering to weapon systems in accordance with DoDI 5200.44 and 8500.01E.
• Implement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01; mitigate supply chain risks.
• Provide RMF-aligned engineering support for assessment and authorization.

Position Summary

Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Program Engineer-Systems Security supporting the Armament Directorate Division, (AFLCMC/EB) at Eglin AFB, Florida. You'll be the guardian of the Air Force's most advanced systems, locking down classified tech, shaping cybersecurity defenses, and keeping missioncritical programs safe from threats. This role focuses on systems security engineering to include design and application of supply chain risk management, information assurance, anti-tamper, and platform information assurance.

This job is onsite at Eglin AFB, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Identify and assess Critical Program Information (CPI) and determine when AT protections are required.
• Develop AT specifications and procedures that prevent or delay exploitation of critical technologies.
• Support and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection Plan.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., SAF/IA, AT Evaluation Team, Weapons AO, OSI/PJ, 48 CTS) to enable compliant testing and fielding.
• Apply IA engineering to airtoair and airtoground weapon systems in accordance with DoDI 5200.44 and DoDI 8500.01E.
• Identify missionscritical functions and critical components and implement riskmanagement practices early in system design.
• Develop IA specifications and support audits, assessments, and integration of secure components.
• Implement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01, including identifying and mitigating internal and external supplychain risks.
• Prevent introduction of counterfeit materials and apply lifecycle controls to protect system integrity.
• Support development of SCRM strategies for quality, supplier reliability, natural disasters, demand shifts, and global disruptions.
• Support PIT and PITIA engineering for missioncritical embedded systems.
• Apply AFLCMC's PIT Security Control Assessor (SCA) processes.
• Ensure secure interconnections with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS, including configuration and crossdomain considerations.
• Support design and implementation of encryption solutions for weaponsystem security.
• Provide RMFaligned engineering support for assessment, authorization, and continuousmonitoring activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline from an ABET accredited college or university and twenty (20) years of relevant experience
• Or a master's degree in a related discipline and at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems).
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5200.44, 8500.01E, and 4140.01.
• Experience with Critical Program Information (CPI) and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and procedures.
