The Staten Island YMCA Counseling Service is seeking a Senior Program Director. The Senior Program Director will ensure that the administrative, clinical day to day, and overall operations of the Branch’s programs and services are being fully executed through utilization of best practices while ensuring that the agency remains in strong fiscal health and contract compliance. The Senior Program Director will be responsible for oversight of clinical and leadership staff in order to achieve the goals of the position. In addition, the Senior Program Director will work with the Executive Director on strategic projects in order to advance the operations and clinical functions of the agency as a whole.

• LMSW and LMHC required. LCSW and LHMC-D preferred.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of supervisory experience in the addiction treatment and/or mental health field. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of staff supervision, program planning and development, quality assurance.
• Knowledge of treatment and prevention best practices.
• Knowledge of OASAS regulations and guidelines, fiscal management, financial development, and fundraising preferred.
• SIFI certification preferred.
