Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead daily branch operations in collaboration with the Branch Executive. You will provide strategic leadership for Camp, Sports, and Programming, delivering high-quality experiences and measurable program performance.

You will develop, expand, and evaluate programs to increase participation, engagement, retention, and community impact, while recruiting, training, and mentoring department leaders and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years leadership in recreation, hospitality, nonprofit, or customer-focused fields.
• Experience leading large teams in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to manage departmental budgets and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations with the Branch Executive.
• Provide strategic leadership for Camp, Sports, and Programming.
• Develop programs to boost participation and community impact.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff and volunteers.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and exceptional member service.
• Oversee budgets and cross-functional initiatives.
