Janicki Industries, Inc. invites a Program Director to join its Sedro-Woolley, WA team for leading engineering programs and driving strategic outcomes. This on-site role oversees multi-disciplinary projects, budgets, and governance while shaping cross-functional collaboration and executive liaison activities.

The candidate will codify program vision, manage schedules, risks, and KPIs, and mentor engineering leads. A senior, delivery-focused leader with US security considerations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in program management or engineering leadership.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex multi-disciplinary programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience aligning technical programs with strategic goals.
• Ability to influence across all levels from engineers to executives.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of engineering programs, ensuring alignment with strategy and delivery goals.
• Build and manage program schedules, resources, and risk plans to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear accountability and progress toward milestones.
• Track KPIs, report status, and elevate issues appropriately.
• Serve as the primary problem-solver for program risks, conflicts, and execution challenges.
• Maintain strong communication across teams, leadership, and external partners.
• Oversee program budgets, forecasts, and compliance with quality and governance standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive practical solutions.
• Support special projects and mentor engineering leads and program staff.
