The successful candidate will oversee faculty, collaborate with governance bodies, and drive program outcomes to meet workforce needs and professional standards. This is a full-time on-site leadership position with credentialing expectations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with leadership focus is required.
• Professional credential in diagnostic medical sonography aligned with program scope is required.
• Experience leading academic programs, clinical education, or program coordination is essential.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards, professional standards, and regulatory requirements for diagnostic medical sonography education.
• Strong communication skills with students, faculty, administrators, and clinical partners.
• Proven organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate program goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure curriculum reflects current professional standards and employer expectations.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment, and revision in collaboration with faculty and governance bodies.
• Oversee faculty hiring, supervision, and performance evaluation for part-time instructors.
• Coordinate accreditation activities, self-studies, site visits, and ongoing compliance.
• Develop and maintain clinical partnerships with hospitals and imaging centers.
• Monitor enrollment, progression, credentialing outcomes, and program effectiveness.
• Support student retention, completion, and professional readiness.
