Senior Program Coordinator – Workforce Development
Location: New Jersey Remote - Applicants must be located in New Jersey to be considered

ICF is seeking a full-time Senior Program Coordinator to support a growing workforce development program being implemented on behalf of a large electric and gas utility in New Jersey. The Senior Program Coordinator will assist in aiding the workforce development vision and support our program to hire underrepresented minorities into the Clean Energy Industry.
This position will include assisting and potentially leading various project-based tasks in support of meeting planning, presentations, report preparation, scheduling, and project management.

The role will also include administrative duties needed to keep the team organized and functioning well. Daily interactions with partners, staff, and clients will require a candidate with a professional demeanor both in-person and on the phone. This role involves direct interaction and coordination across local implementation teams, ICF’s customer operations team, and client representatives to ensure the client expectations are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, project management, data analysis, and customer success.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of organizational relationships with distributors, contractors, trade, and community organizations
  • Deliver a satisfactory customer experience to multiple stakeholders
  • Work as part of the team ensuring client projects are successfully executed
  • Assist the Senior Workforce Development Manager with tasks including organizing data tracking mechanisms, preparing for team meetings, energy and utility policy research, and coordinating with other internal and external teams
  • Support the outreach team in daily activities
  • Assist with preparing and distributing regular forecasting, key projects, and key accounts reports
  • Prepare schedules, calendar, and timeline documents
  • Format items in Word or Excel
  • Provide peak-time support to Operations team to prioritize, assess, and process project incentives
  • Travel to the Newark ICF office for quarterly meetings


What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or similar disciplines (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 5+ years of project management, data management experience and/or related experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check, background check and drug screening

What we would like you to have (preferred skills):

  • Previous Workforce Development experience (training, hiring, data management, reporting or similar)
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency or clean energy career pathways
  • Experience writing macros or VBA in Excel.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool)

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Aptitude with data manipulation and analysis

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$80,743.00 - $137,263.00 New Jersey Remote Office (NJ99)
