Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin in Petaluma and Santa Rosa is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to plan, oversee and administer program activities across academic success, arts, sports and life skills.

You will hire and supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure safety, and collaborate with parents and school partners to deliver high-impact youth programs. This is a full-time role requiring a personal vehicle and multi-site presence.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize BGCA programs to foster belonging, usefulness, competence and influence for youth.
  • Recruit and retain members; meet goals for membership, attendance and impact.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment; ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Employ trauma-informed behavior management tools to ensure safety and enjoyment of Members.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administration.
  • Assist the Club Leader in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating staff and volunteers.
  • Manage monthly budget and financial resources.
  • Complete administrative tasks by organizational deadlines (bi-weekly payroll, attendance tracking, monthly reviews).
  • Serve meals to members; supervise meal service.
  • Display civil rights poster and menu at service location.
  • Count meals and record per CACFP requirements.
  • Submit meal counts and records to CNP Manager.

Position: Senior Program Coordinator

General Purpose: Under the supervision of the Club Leader, Senior Program Coordinators help to plan, oversee and administer all program activities offered at a school based or stand-alone facility. Program areas include Academic Success, Character & Leadership Development, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, The Arts and Health & Life Skills. Incumbents may hire, train and supervise program staff, oversee care and maintenance of facility and perform related administrative duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Utilize programs developed locally and by Boys & Girls Clubs of America to create an environment that fosters a sense of belonging, usefulness, competence and influence for youth.
  2. Recruit and retain members through flyers, newsletters and word-of-mouth. Responsible for meeting goals for Membership, attendance and impact metrics.
  3. Maintain a safe, clean environment. Ensures proper use and maintenance of Club equipment and property.
  4. Employ trauma-informed behavior management tools to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Members.
  5. Establish strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administration.
  6. Assist the Club Leader in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating all direct reports, ensuring a positive and dynamic relationship between all staff and Club members. May include volunteers & independent contractors. Champions staff recruitment efforts and initiatives.
  7. Manage financial resources, adhering to monthly budget.
  8. Complete all administrative tasks in accordance with Organizational deadlines. Duties may include, but are not limited to bi-weekly payroll, weekly attendance tracking and monthly performance reviews.

  • Serving meals to members.
  • Supervision of members during meal service time.

  • Counting meals and recording the information per CACFP requirements.
  • Completion of meal order form.
  • Collection of menu production records and transport records.
  • Submission of meal count form, meal order form, menu production records, and transport records to CNP Manager.
