Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Program and Budget Analyst to support the nation's nuclear deterrence mission through NNSA's Defense Programs and the Plutonium Modernization program. This role requires active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance and extensive PPBE experience.

The position is a full-time contractor role, primarily remote, with travel to Albuquerque, NM, Washington, DC, and other client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a finance/management/science field with 10+–12 years of related program/budget analysis experience.
• Expertise with PPBE systems (DOE/DOD) such as FormEX, CostEX, and related budget tools.
• Experience preparing work authorizations, program documentation, and budget briefs for senior leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level briefings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for Plutonium Program Office budget planning and execution.
• Provide concise, timely budget/ program analyses for decision makers across NNSA and DOE officials.
• Develop multi-year program cost and budget documentation and supporting briefings.
• Prepare inputs for plans, Reports to Congress, and Defense Programs documents.
• Track milestones, risks, and performance measures to support program execution.
