Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) in the United States is seeking an experienced program/operations analyst to support acquisition management and senior leadership.

The role involves gathering information for managers, analyzing processes for efficiency, developing practical solutions, and maintaining program milestones and documentation. Strong analytical, budgeting, and communication skills are essential, with a Secret clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is desired.
• Associate’s degree with four additional years of related professional experience may substitute for BA/BS.
• 10+ years of experience supporting acquisition management is desired.
• Analytical methods to evaluate management processes, organizational effectiveness, and program performance.
• Experience developing program documentation and financial materials.
• Strong budgeting and financial analysis experience.
• Experience conducting work measurement studies and efficiency reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and evaluate information for managers and customers.
• Analyze structures, processes, and resource requirements to improve efficiency.
• Develop practical solutions to complex management challenges.
• Maintain program milestones and progress documentation.
• Prepare and maintain financial, acquisition, and training documentation.

• Prepare complex technical documentation and briefings.
• Conduct reviews to evaluate processes and compliance.
• Deliver technical presentations to leadership and customers.
