Job summary

JRC in Crane, Indiana, seeks a Senior Program Analyst II to support a Navy ACAT-1D acquisition program as part of a Commander’s Action Group. You will translate strategic direction into actionable tasks, coordinate across leadership, and drive high-priority objectives.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of program analysis, and a SECRET clearance (or recently held). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational and leadership skills are essential to manage meetings

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, related degree preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant program analysis and administrative experience
  • An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level (or have held an active clearance in the past 2 years)
  • Familiarity with Navy and DoD administrative processes, organizational structures, and staff operations.
  • Prior experience supporting a government staff—ideally within the Navy/DoD, a Commander’s Action Group, Chief of Staff office, or similar senior‑level environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated experience with administrative workflows, task management systems, and formal correspondence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead planning and execution of high-visibility meetings and deliverables.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate senior‑level guidance into tasks for program personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an Action Officer supporting a Navy ACAT-1D program.
  • Provide direct support to Navy Flag Officer, Deputy Program Director, and Chief of Staff.
  • Coordinate inputs from subordinate echelons and technical teams.
  • Lead planning and logistics for high-visibility engagements (OIPT meetings, flag-level meetings).
  • Manage the program’s task management system and track actions to closure.
  • Prepare, edit, and track Navy official correspondence and executive documentation.
  • Draft and translate taskings into actionable deliverables for others.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Analyst II to support a Commander’s Action Group within a rapidly expanding, high-visibility Navy ACAT-1D acquisition program. As an Action Officer, you will coordinate and execute organizational policies, programs, and strategic initiatives while providing direct support to the Deputy PAE for Regional Deterrence. You will serve as a key liaison across executive leadership, subject matter experts, and operational teams—driving tasking, planning, and execution of the program’s highest-priority objectives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, senior‑level environments and can translate strategic direction into clear, actionable outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as an Action Officer within a small, high-performing Commander’s Action Group supporting a Navy ACAT-1D acquisition program.
  • Provide direct support to a Navy Flag Officer, Deputy Program Director and Chief of Staff.
  • Integrate program-level products requiring inputs from multiple subordinate echelons and technical teams.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and logistics for large, high-visibility engagements, including:
    • Overarching Integrated Product Team (OIPT) meetings
    • Flag-level oversight meetings
    • Leadership offsites and strategic planning sessions
  • Manage and maintain the program’s task management system, ensuring timely tracking, assignment, and closure of actions.
  • Author, edit, review, and track official Navy correspondence and executive-level documentation.
  • Accompany the Flag Officer to meetings, capturing taskings and translating them into actionable, trackable deliverables for subordinate organizations.
What You Bring to the Table
