The position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA and supports the Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide inputs and recommendations for spend plans, assist in management with data analysis and spreadsheets.
• Develop supporting documentation such as programming, POM, Purchase Request Forms, and Business Management data calls, and input programmatic/budget data into databases.
• Prepare and review acquisition documents, reports, and briefings. Conduct technical program management activities including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and requirements development.
• Support PM FPS programs through acquisition, risk management, technical reviews, and technology assessments.
• Conduct baseline reviews, compliance checks, and status reports; identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze engineering, logistics, budget, and operational data to report on project status, accomplishments, and long-term plans.
• Prepare fund requests, monitor obligations and expenditures, and assist with procurement documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of system acquisition and program management laws, policies, and practices.
• Understanding of DoD, OMB, and Congressional budget processes.
• Experience briefing senior management effectively.

Specialized Experience

• At least one year executing cost, schedule, performance, and risk activities within the acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience tracking program status and preparing funding estimates.

Clearance

• Active Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8+ years supporting DoD, including 3+ as an analyst and 1+ as a team leader.
• Additional experience may substitute for education; master's degree can substitute for two years of experience.

Additional Details

• Less than 10% travel expected.
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, with flexible hours.
• Position co-located with government and contractors.
