Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Financial Analyst to evaluate customer profitability and analyze sales and margin results to support leadership decisions. The role builds standard reports, templates, and tools to deliver actionable insights.

You will model profitability, participate in forecasting processes, and collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize margins. A strong math/analytics background and GAAP knowledge are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and large data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus four or more years of analytical experience.
Strong mathematical background and analytics capability.
Knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and cost accounting.
Experience manipulating large data sets.

Responsibilities

Support sales and leadership with profitability insights and value-add analysis.
Create profitability and predictive models based on sales input and evaluate post-onboarding profitability.
Assist with the LRP/AOP/Forecast processes.
Identify, track and drive margin optimization initiatives.
Prepare month-end presentations for senior teams and input Financial Packet.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to align Profit team efforts.
