Job summary

Brillio in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Profisee MDM & Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to design and govern enterprise data solutions for QSR, Retail and consumer goods domains. You will lead MDM implementation with Profisee, migrate to Microsoft Fabric, build data models, and oversee data governance, quality, and integration across platforms.

This onsite role requires 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft data management experience and relevant certifications; the salary range is 170,000-180,000

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Microsoft data management technologies, Profisee MDM and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience leading data modernization in QSR, Retail or Consumer domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable data management and MDM solutions using Profisee MDM and Microsoft Fabric for QSR and Retail environments.
• Lead data modernization projects, migrating legacy SQL-based platforms and ETL workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop enterprise data models, hierarchies, relationships and business rules.
• Configure Profisee match-merge, survivorship, validation, and data quality controls.
• Establish master data governance, workflows, approvals, and maintenance procedures.
• Define data integration patterns between Profisee and enterprise apps and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and delivery plans.
• Communicate recommendations, risks and progress to leadership.

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 8 years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft data management technologies, including Profisee MDM and Microsoft Fabric, and demonstrated leadership in data modernization within QSR, Retail, or Consumer Business domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable data management and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Profisee MDM and Microsoft Fabric for Quick Service Restaurant and Retail business environments.


• Lead data modernization projects, migrating legacy SQL‑based platforms and ETL workloads to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring seamless transition and optimized performance.


• Develop enterprise data models, entity structures, hierarchies, relationships, and business rules tailored to business‑critical operations.


• Configure Profisee MDM match‑and‑merge logic, duplicate detection, survivorship rules, validation logic, and implement data quality controls.


• Establish master data governance frameworks, stewardship workflows, approval processes, exception handling, and maintenance procedures.


• Define and implement data integration patterns between Profisee, enterprise applications, source systems, and downstream analytical platforms.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into actionable solution designs and delivery plans.


• Communicate solution recommendations, risks, dependencies, and progress to leadership, ensuring stakeholder alignment and expectation management.

• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric data engineering and analytics components

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and lakehouse architectures


• Expertise in Power BI for advanced data visualization


• Familiarity with retail and consumer business data domains


• Knowledge of ETL automation and orchestration tools


• Experience with cloud‑based data security and compliance


• Exposure to advanced analytics and AI‑driven data quality solutions

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a closely related discipline


• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate


• Profisee MDM certification or documented proficiency in enterprise MDM implementations
