Job summary

Panduit is seeking a Senior Extrusion Process Engineer to lead the design and enhancement of profile extrusion equipment, processes, and tooling. You will tackle complex engineering tasks from concept to execution, ensuring quality alignment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading process direction, optimizing extrusion operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design compatibility. A strong background in polymer extrusion and tooling is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-8 years in plastic profile extrusion production, optimizing extrusion processes and creating process recipes.
• Skills: Proficiency in extrusion principles, extrusion tooling, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and process management for profile extrusion operations.
• Optimize and troubleshoot extrusion processes.
• Develop new processes, define parameters, and evaluate equipment needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product design requirements and extrusion compatibility.
• Design and implement profiling tooling including process validation.
• Analyze test data to refine processes and material specs.
• Provide technical support to improve productivity and reduce scrap, enhancing OEE.
• Stay updated on industry trends and long-term technical strategies.
• Drive capital projects from business case to execution.
