Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing.
• 8–12+ years of professional liability litigation experience.
• Expertise in professional negligence defense and malpractice matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the defense of complex professional liability claims involving attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, insurance brokers, real estate professionals, and other professionals.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies, including case assessment, discovery planning, dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Serve as a trusted adviser to existing clients, including insurance carriers, third-party administrators, professional firms, and corporate clients.
• Manage key client relationships and provide timely, practical, and commercially focused legal advice.
• Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand the firm's professional liability practice.
• Cultivate relationships with insurers, brokers, claims professionals, in-house counsel, professional associations, and referral sources.
