Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined engineering and design professionals is looking for a Senior Professional Water/Wastewater Engineer who has extensive experience designing and managing a variety of public and private water and wastewater projects, engaging mentorship skills, and aspirations or a demonstrated ability to take a lead role in market development activities.
As a member of our team, you will serve as a lead design engineer for a variety of multi-disciplined, complex public and private water and wastewater projects, and in collaboration with the Water/Wastewater Group Manager, you leverage your technical knowledge to coach, mentor, and develop a talented team of engineering professionals. In addition, you will serve as a project manager and be responsible for evaluating the scope and scheduling requirements of current and projected projects, coordinating planning strategies to ensure successful project execution from conception through construction, and providing quality assurance and quality control.
As a senior member of the team, you will leverage your technical expertise and market insight to assist the Water/Wastewater Group Manager with the development of annual and strategic market development plans, track prospective business / contract opportunities, contribute to or lead proposal development efforts, and conduct project interviews and capabilities presentations. You will also have the opportunity to cultivate and enhance relations with technical stakeholders and political leaders throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and in other prospective markets by attending networking events, actively participating in committees and associations, and representing TKDA at professional conferences and trade show events.
For this opportunity we are seeking a qualified professional who resides within a regular commuting distance of our office in Saint Paul, MN or Downers Grove, IL. We will also consider candidates who are seeking a remote opportunity if they reside within the greater Milwaukee or Madison, WI areas. Flexible work arrangements (3 days in office / 2 days remote per week) will be extended to candidates who have demonstrated an ability to work successfully in a hybrid work environment by displaying self-motivation, initiative, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
