Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing sales through prospecting new retail agent clients, growing existing retail agencies, and securing new business accounts by providing excellent customer service, product knowledge, and creative, timely problem-solving. The focus will be on the construction segment, including builder’s risk, property, and general liability/XS lines of business.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimal travel required.
Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting experience, preferably with a focus on construction. Ability to work independently and build strong relationships. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Effective speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension of English. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Basic math skills, ability to calculate premiums, and apply payments/refunds accurately.
Licensing and designations are preferred but not required.

Preference for candidates residing in Ohio or Texas.
Salary range: $70,000 to $130,000, influenced by skills, experience, location, and business needs.
