Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA, is seeking a Sr. Production Test Technician on First Shift to support assembly and test operations for avionics and related systems.

The role emphasizes training, knowledge of equipment, and adherence to procedures, with supervision from Technical Specialists as needed. The position requires related electronics education or equivalent experience and a background in high-power electronics may substitute education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field required.
• 2–4 years of direct experience in essential functions.
• High-power electronics experience may substitute formal education.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations including set-up with engineers, troubleshooting, rework, and quality testing of parts and assemblies.
• Assemble, test and troubleshoot complex assemblies and final systems with standard test equipment.
• Set up specialized test equipment.
• Use programs to collect and evaluate operating and test data.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to modify the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with engineers on experiments.
