Job summary

General Dynamics - Ordnance and Tactical Systems (AR,ME,NE,OH,VT) is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines in a continuous production environment.

You will monitor gauges, temperatures, and flow controls to ensure adherence to specifications, report malfunctions, and perform required adjustments while following safety procedures and documenting production activities.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production equipment to manufacture, process, and assemble various commercial products and substances.
• Monitors output for quality and conformance to required metrics.
• Prepares and maintains required records of production activities and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues.
• Follows established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear.
• Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoots issues related to manufacturing operations and industrial layout.
