General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to set up and operate automated equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You will monitor gauges and controls, perform routine maintenance, and report malfunctions to ensure product quality and safety.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED required and 5–7 years experience or equivalent combination.
• Preferred Vocational/Technical Training Degree.
• Written communication, ability to document information, ability to lift/move heavy objects, mechanical knowledge, safety knowledge.

Mansioni

• Operates, tests, and monitors equipment according to established guidelines.
• Observes operation and documents maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages.
• May communicate with equipment technicians on highly complex issues.
• Verifies equipment data for reporting.
• Supports and assists with the installation of operating equipment.
• Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete more complex tasks.
• May assist with training other machine operators.
• May calculate and assist with numeric controlled programming.
