Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Production Technician III for our Waco, TX site. This role focuses on producing parts that meet print and specification requirements while taking care of equipment and tooling readiness.

The technician will train operators and contribute to lean manufacturing and safety practices. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of mechanical experience, is able to interpret blueprints, and can operate multiple equipment types.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience performing mechanical work.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Associate's degree in Technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts meeting drawings and specifications.
• Set-up and operate equipment as assigned.
• Perform statistical process measurements and maintain forms.
• Order and maintain tooling, gauges and supplies.
• Train other operators as required.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform regular machine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare daily production reports and forms.
