Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Senior Production Technician for 1st shift to train and guide teams in manufacturing and assembly. You will use Epicor MRP to plan resources, execute a formal production schedule, and drive lean improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards are met across multiple facilities.

You will lead by example, mentor juniors, and implement effective work instructions to sustain on-time delivery and cost control. This role reports to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical assembly and/or fabrication.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and MRP transactions (Epicor preferred).
• Understanding of safety protocols and ability to enforce safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead the production team to meet targets and quality objectives.
• Utilize Epicor MRP to plan and schedule production activities.
• Maintain a comprehensive production schedule based on orders and material availability.
• Monitor assembly/fabrication processes to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and support safety compliance.
